A car interior is a group of parts that age at different rates. The driver's seat may be heavily worn while the panels are still sound; a console may be scratched while the foam has lost its shape. Assessment defines a coherent restoration without replacing parts that can be preserved.
Seats and foam
Cushions and backrests can be reworked when the covering, stitching or foam is worn. Shape, cover tension and comfort should be considered together rather than treating only the visible symptom.
Panels, trim and consoles

- consoles, gaiters and finish elements;
- steering wheels or wrapped parts depending on condition and scope;
- headliners and trim when the support and material allow it.
Make a partial restoration look coherent
When only some parts are remade, grain, colour, sheen and stitching need to work with the existing interior. A targeted repair can be the right solution if it respects the volumes and the overall reading of the cabin.
Start with complete photos
Photos of the cabin, worn areas and dismantled parts make the first exchange more useful. The make and model can be included, but the assessment mainly depends on the actual condition of the elements.
